Train journey to New York

After a brief two-day whirl round Boston, yesterday it was time to move on to New York. We had booked train tickets for the four-hour trip south and west along the coast.

Boston Day 2

The weather is now refreshingly British here: cold and windy. When it’s not raining, the air has the feel of a ski resort, biting cold and bracing. It makes you really appreciate being inside! We never get weather like that back in Pasadena, where you only relish being inside when it’s boiling hot outside…
