Last weekend we spent a couple of days down at Seal Beach, near Bolsa Chica where we went on Labor Day. We met up with Katie and Josh, and were lucky enough to be able to stay in Katie’s father’s weekday abode, a well-appointed beach house about ten yards from the beach. (Thanks Rick!)

With every car restoration project, the more additional identical cars you have, the better. One car to restore, and ‘x’ donor cars (and ‘y’ extra miscellaneous parts). Sometimes the restoration focus shifts…: the original car has to be relegated to being a donor, when a better one comes along.

We’ve been camping this weekend, only just over an hour away in the mountains of San Bernadino County. The campsite is up near Big Bear, where we’ve been skiing a few times and where I briefly jaunted up to in February.
